I have a Coraline doll!

Not a doll of Coraline, a doll of her doll, yarn hair, button eyes and all, in her little yellow raincoat. She's soft over a posable wire armature. The edges of the coat are wired and posable too! First of them that I've actually seen in person! Very head heavy though, she's got a solid little noggin that only looks like burlap.

I'd walked into the Exchange looking for a used copy of Inception (still looking. I want a deal. Cheap DVDs are almost worse crack than dolls) and was nebbing at the Gameboy games and looked up... XD She really does look just like the doll in the movie. Worth getting caught in the rain and hail for!

Almy and me went to a mega garage sale. I got a Dawn doll with original outfit and an awesome taiko drums CD all for 50 cents! Elsa has now claimed Dawn as her little dollie. :)

*victory dance* My doll bag is finiiiished! It looks fantastic too, or it will when I go over it with a lint roller, I still need to make it a separate shoulder strap but the bag itself is finished and mom gave me the shoulder strap that she didn't want from a new purse she just got, it doesn't match but it'll do if I don't get around to making the strap before the convention. I've put Dove in it and it's a perfect fit, too!

I'm so glad to have the darn thing done with. XD It's a very nice doll bag, padded and fully lined in white, with a zipper, a bit under the zipper to protect the doll's face, a hand strap and D-rings for a shoulder strap. All hand sewn. And the exterior is made of pants. XD I still have to take pictures of the finished piece but I'm very pleased.

Ok while awaiting the arrival of my new floating head I finally got my hands on a tiny I have been wanting for awhile. /squeee

Got all my MSDs ordered in January! ResinSoul Wu (Ba'ul), Li (Zili) and Yao (Oun). My DikaDoll Rena OE and CE (Lael). My ResinSoul's have a backstory unlike my other dolls but Lael is Peyton's (D.I.M. body + free random head) best friend. I'll post pics soon. Rena is super cute! I haven't seen a lot of Dikadoll fans but she's so charming and it seems her body poses well.

I made a petticoat! It's a short elastic-waist tiered skirt made of the same white lining material I used for my doll bag, with two slightly longer layers of black tulle. It puffs the circle skirt of Dove's dress out perfectly without being too thick to sit in or fit her in the doll bag with. It looks great and the inside is still all white so the black tulle doesn't rub against or stain the resin. And it was easy and I finished it over one afternoon/evening.

There aren't any pictures at the moment. I tried, but it's midnight. The lighting's crap. I'll take some pics tomorrow when the sun's up.

...I think I really am going to have to repaint my other Bobobies this summer, she just pops so much with her face done. The other two still have their factory faceups.

I also got my Skullcandy headphones, and I tried them, and I like them. ^_^

partially removed the factory faceup on my daughters tonner girl she is getting for her birthday, so I can repaint her younger. Then make her a dress when the fabric i ordered off ebay arrives. ^^
