What kind of headphones did you get? I used mine to and from work today and the sound is muddy. More bass than I'm used to as well. And of course I pitched the packaging and reciept last night after opening them. I'll just have to consider it stupid tax. I'm thinking that I should've paid the few extra bucks for the Sony ones...the pair I'm replacing is Sony and the sound quality was much better.

Went to my first doll meet up today, in Chicago IL. Got to hold a lot of 1/3 girls and boys, and even a few 70 biggies. I can't wait for my Rachael! Also got her first wig today... someone had one for.. uber cheap, so I thought might as well, and got her first pair of shoes as well! So.. I've got a nonexistent doll's accessories?! Still some how ZOMG exciting!

Sounds awesome! Congrats on getting your Rachael's first wig and shoes.

I just sewed Haruka a new dress and am helping my BFF sew a dress for her girl.

I went with Sony, my particular pair were on sale for around $20-$25 because they were designer or something and are trimmed in bright pink. It's one of the things where I'll splurge now, any brand you know makes good electronics should work. Each pair will have it's own style. If the headphones work and you can stick it out you'll get used to them, you might even hear things you never heard before.

Aside from some typical opening night glitches, my daughter's debut in Beauty and the Beast was fabulous! Her best friend played Belle and even with allergies and sinus issues, Cassie's singing was as beautiful as always. Joy was the Enchantress, Marie and a napkin (as well as stage manager). Both of us had several people commenting on how perfectly she did the Enchantress. Now she wishes she had tried out for one of the major parts, but there will be another play starting in August or September for her to consider. Second performance is tonight and hopefully her napkin costume will be finished and not put together with safety pins!

I found what looks like a nice pair of Skullcandy on sale from Ebay, $13 and free shipping, so I grabbed them. I figure, that's what they do so they gotta be decent, and my brother seems pleased with his so far as he's ever pleased with anything, so I'm hopeful. They're also blue. I like blue.

I've been planning for ages to make a doll bag to hold one 1/4 doll and then it occured to me that a pant leg is about the right size and shape, and I have several pairs of wrecked pants from various unfortunate occurances that usually ended with me bleeding from somewhere or other, so I took one and chopped it up and added some hardware and I almost have a doll bag! I still need to do the straps and padding and put in the lining but the exterior is basically done and it's all held together properly and zips up. I'm very proud of that last part. Took me all freaking day to sew the entire thing in by hand. Backstitching all the way around with black thread on black fabric in poor light. Drove me insane.

Aw! I love plays but I'm too chicken to ever be in one. Tell her to keep up the awesome work. She has guts! :D

I have a Coraline doll!

Not a doll of Coraline, a doll of her doll, yarn hair, button eyes and all, in her little yellow raincoat. She's soft over a posable wire armature. The edges of the coat are wired and posable too! First of them that I've actually seen in person! Very head heavy though, she's got a solid little noggin that only looks like burlap.

I'd walked into the Exchange looking for a used copy of Inception (still looking. I want a deal. Cheap DVDs are almost worse crack than dolls) and was nebbing at the Gameboy games and looked up... XD She really does look just like the doll in the movie. Worth getting caught in the rain and hail for!
