I get a substantially higher percentage on an e-book you get directly from Baen itself because that cuts the middleman right out (Baen was doing e-books before there were e-readers, actually, one of the pioneers of the process). Printing and distribution are a HUUUUUGE part of the cost of producing a book (as Cirque can tell you).

Well that's good to know! Not that I'm switching away from paperbacks, but I'd like to know that if I DO pay the same price for an E-copy as I do for a paper copy the author will at least see more of the price!

And Gratz on the new dorrie! (MUST get Sera back together....!! She's one of the main characters in this book!)

Yes yes - we must have more dollieh photos!!!

Lol just made my first OT post on DoA. Oops, apparently even the box opening has to be of one of their fancy dolls. Ugh, lame.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Perhaps this will lead to the revival of the autograph book. I have a bright one. Not much in it yet.

Get a free art app and a stylus and let them sign away. Or you can have your favorite authors sign your E-reader case, put a clear coat on that and show it off!

Have to admit I like e-readers. Autographing, yeah, that is an issue, but often people I know who collect autographed books will get one to keep and one to read....so this cuts down on the number of paper books they have.
All you damn kids get offa my lawn!

My husband has to have one paperback book to read and one hardbound book to get autographed! LOL! And don't get me started about his Wheel of Time collection (he's a long time member of the Theoryland site) . . .

Well I got accepted as a gay youth volunteer.

First week of uni I made a friend.

I got a doll package full of fun stuff.

I finally bought skinny jeans and wore them in front of my ex.

I managed to make my crush smile.

And yeah, good things.
