I’ve been on a book-buying spree. All these gorgeous special edition omnibuses with sprayed edges and colored chapter art and extras like art prints. I can never resist beautiful art. I’ve bought like six of them in the past month, all by indie authors. Thank goodness for tax return time.

If we lived closer to each other and things were different you could have helped yourself to all the analog books I took to the thrift store. I'm still running a 'help me scan it to a pdf and you can have the analog book' deal on most of them.

A physical library is all fun and games until you're the only one moving them. And if you do use grocery bags, it's an easy amount to deal with at a time and you can stack them.

I'm hoping our library eventually gets up and running again. It was one of the casualties of the massive flooding we had here last year. Massive as in all of downtown was underwater.

Most of my library is on my Kindle. It’s usually my preferred method to purchase, for exactly those reasons. Much less space to take up and a lot less to move if I ever have to! Just these special editions caught my eye and I had to get them.

I rarely go to the library anymore, but I use the Libby app to read library books that way. I had to actually re-apply for another library card at my local library before I could use Libby, that’s how long it’s been since I last checked physical books out.

Of all my formats Kindle is the least, most are pdfs which aren't as easy to see on a regular Kindle, had a "regular" type and a more tablet like one. By the time you're paying for one of their tablets you might as well get one that'll play better with your computer's OS. My next purchase is going to be a tablet, I'm just waiting to see if the basic ones are being updated so I can get more storage for my money or if not I'm going with a bigger screen.

We stopped going to the library when we moves in 2011, never found where that local one was, then with all the car issues we had borrowing wouldn't have been a good idea. Fortunately I discovered Project Gutenberg and then got in to buying (too many) thrift store books. I do still buy analog books, mostly craft, or they're too big to look nice on a screen or the ebook sample didn't look well formatted.

I have a kindle but read more on the app on my iPad than the actual kindle. It is nice though. I can read more than one book at once. And it’s easier to cart my phone around than a large book when I’m at work.

Also! Another latest buy. I was browsing the DOA market and happened to see a 2023 F60 SHIWOO ELF HEAD for sale! I didn’t even realize they’d released a SHIWOO elf as an event head!

So yeah, I snapped him right up. Now I can finally have an SD version of my character Puck without paying through the nose for an original Delf.

Steam is having a Visual Novel sale, so I'm buying even MORE VNs to not finish. I realize I have a problem.
