I kinda finished Sunny and Violet's costumes in time for the con? Violet's costume was held closed with a safety pin in the back, but she looked great. They both looked great. Got some compliments at the doll meet.

Today, all the Comfy Disney Princesses I ordered a week ago were here, so each one got a wash and a shampoo. Most of them don't have their shoes, but one thing at a time.

I found my laptop and some of the outline for something I was writing, so I've been bitten by the writer bug again. Someday maybe I'll publish this beast of a story.

Looks like I'll have to purchase a body to match, if I can, the Tracey (friend of Starr) head I have because so far no one matches. She's darker between the lightest and middle shades commonly used for AA dolls and very ruddy like she's blushing hard or sunburned. And now that I have my Barbie me body I have to find a goddess or diva mold head to match in the purple yoga top skin tone.

If you can find her, the blond mountain climber might work. I swapped a Teen Skipper with that really orange leaning tan skin tone they used to us onto the blond mountain climber, and it isn't exact, but it's a decent match. Certain batches of the mountain climber leaned really orange. I won't be able to get a comparison picture for a couple days because of work, but I'll try to get to my workshop the next time off off to at least compare her to some of the others I have.

Thanks but she's beyond orange tan, she's darker than the old Malibu Barbies but lighter than the more common AA color like they use for Tiana. (to compare here to dolls I've had at hand recently) Pocahontas is close but not as red so I might luck out with someone from Moana.

No big deal, I got the head a few years back when I wanted physical examples of some sculpts and was irked I missed out on a decent priced set of Starr and friends. Don't want them now, Jazzie and the Heart Family mom share the same sculpts, and it's possible the head might go in the next round of GTFO.

I'll do a little more digging. Matching those old skin tones is so hard . . . Mattel needs to release some MtM bodies in the vintage skin tones.

Try an Elena of Avalor body from Disney Store. She's close to Pocahontas but much 'redder.'

Thanks everyone for the advice. I took the head to a box store and discovered the live action little mermaid is very close so that gives me hope there will be another Mattel body out there. I just want to find one with legs for her.

All the fun we've had just waiting for a petite MtM in pearl makes me feel like Mattel wouldn't listen if they offered a premium service where you could pick the skin tone, sculpt, and body you want but only like MtM and a couple others that collectors really like. It would be instant customer feedback on what dolls to make for the market.

If the live action Ariel is close, the AA MtM soccer player or Barbie Looks #15 might be close to what you need.
