No problem! I've been experimenting with painting cloth dolls and clothes that way. Do practice with the Inktense to get a feel for how it behaves on your fabric because once it's on there it's on there.

Progress update:

Worked on smoothing out the obvious pencil strokes in her skin and finally settled on a lip color.

Trying to come up with some summer dresses for my Smarties but it's not going so well at this point. Tossing out bodice number two and back to the drawing board. The last one was a pattern for an SD sized dress, but the measurements weren't working even tho my initial check looked like they should have. To quote Pooh, Oh Bother!

Where is the problem with the fit? Too big or too small?

And I know of one doll pattern making book that has been praised and called 'self correcting' when it comes to making the basic patterns.

I'm making patterns too! Monster High patterns. My prototype leggings are a super snug fit, need to add more seam allowance. I have no idea how the tunic will turn out until I finish sewing it and put it on the doll.

I'm terrible with making my own patterns so I try to use what I have to fudge into what I want. In this case, the bust fit around but it made armhole gaps. I think the front piece was just too small and the darts weren't quite right. However, I found a SD bustier pattern I'd bought a while back and used it to make the top and I'm trying to put the ruffled skirt from the other pattern on it. So far, working okay. Will post it if it turns out any good in my sewing skills topic.

You can always wrap the doll in foil or plastic wrap, cover that with masking tape, mark where you want seams, cut the tape off along the seams, flatten and trace for a pattern.

With my drafting to make a tight fit for big boobs I put a small dart in the front of the arm hole.

I started drawing a Clawdeen fanart tonight. She's a mix between the cartoon version and the doll version. She's so stinking cute already! It always shocks me when I do a good sketch. I'm always surprised. I'm like, "that couldn't have been me! Did a ghost draw this while I was staring at the paper holding the pencil?"

I bought giant blanket yarn in screaming fuscia (sp?), to see if having this will help me crochet the elephant doll I promised a friend as a gift for her youngest grandbaby.
I am Tam. Tam I am. I like green eggs, but I don't like ham. :D

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

I've gotten a crap ton of stuff done this weekend. Yesterday, I finally finished the Clawdeen fanart I started 2 weeks ago. Today, I conditioned Clawdeen's hair, drew a first draft design of her summer outfit, and started braiding her hair. She's 7 braids in so far, this is gonna take me a few days.
