Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!
How was your Easter?
What did you do?
Did you spend it with your dolls?
Did you spend it with family?
Did your dolls get a visit from the bjd easter bunny?
Did you color eggs? or get a choco bunny to eat?
My kids, husband and myself all got into the egg coloring this year.
No color kits here, (they don't color eggs here) /gasp lol
but food coloring works just fine they had a blast and thats what really matters.
Hope your Easter is a happy one.

Happy Easter and Blessed Resurrection Day! It's still morning here. With a teenager, no more egg coloring or hunts, but I still make the kidlet and my husband baskets. Hubby made chocolate and banana pancakes. Later we will have roast chicken (hubby's diet . . . . ) and assorted other goodies.

I don't celebrate Easter but the long holidays gave me the chance to finish rooting and painting my doll (the blond one). Oddly enough I was collecting online Easter eggs

Both sisters are based on bunny plushies but the other pair of ears are missing

:hugs: Hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Easter Sunday yesterday!!!

We took the day off (though we really couldn't afford to, timewise for commissions due), but we'll manage it. ^^ We watched 'Jesus of Nazareth' all day (it's about 6-7 hours long and so great!!! Some inaccuracies and additions here and there, but very moving nonetheless and it's our favorite Jesus movie---the actors are all perfect, I think) after church services and our dollies did watch the movie with us, in bunny ears and feet!!!
My sister is so crazy, she made them all bunnie ears and a pair each for us as well. I had to wear bunny ears all day. 0_o
Our dad was laughing at her for carting all her dolls down to the sofa to watch with us. Ha ha haha...

We also finished 2 of her own anime bjd's outfits (Tea from YGO and Ran from HaruToki 1) while watching the show! That leaves only 5 left to go, to clothe for her set!!!! YAY!!!!!

God bless you all!!

Spent the day freezing, going out in the pouring rain to try to find out why our plumbing completely backed up and stopped working.

No daughters at home for the first time in 27 years.
:(

Went to see "Alice in Wonderland" and in spite of all the bashing it got, I enjoyed it.

Well our easter was Hot!
As it's pretty hot year round here. And no AC like most places here.
lol

kids played in the kiddie pool we got them, we decided not to go to the market this week and just go next week we were not out of fruits and veggies and we had just gone to costo "price smart" here same company however. on saturday and got what we needed in case there was no market due to holiday anyhow.

the kids got up ravaged their candy and toys lol
(not really but they did eat alot of it and played with their toys ;)

we hid easter eggs for them and then my oldest daughter and i cracked them and sorted each kids eggs in their own bags for snacking later.

watched some movies at home and then i made a baked skinless boneless lemon chicken & mashed potatoes for dinner.
took the drippings, in the pan added flour and cream&milk and a pinch of seasoning made a really nice lemon chicken cream sauce took the chicken and placed them in the sauce made for a nice dinner.
i also made some cornbread biscuits in the shape of teddy bear heads with little eyes and mouths ;)
the kids liked those and they went pretty fast ;)

all in all it was a nice easter.

wed is my wedding anniversary, debating on what we are doing then probable go out to eat with the kids and swap gifts with my hubby this year ;)

then go home and watch some movies  and relax
