My Smart Doll is here already!

Wow! That was fast! So here is my new girl, a alternate (almost smiling) Kanata. I've decided to name her Ena. It's supposed to be Japanese for Gift from God, but it's also the 3 letter code for our local airport. :D
She's wearing a Dollmore outfit I recently got from Denver Doll Emporium and some shoes I got off ebay in an effort to find some that would fit my Dollmore girl. A bit big, but not terribly so.

I like that she's so light but not floppy. I can see her getting a lot of attention from me since she's easy to play with and I'm not worried about breaking/staining/damaging her.

That was quick! And what a clever idea for a name!

Her sailor-style uniform is adorable!

I have found the slightly too large shoes make it easier for Smart Dolls to stand.

Had this outfit hanging around because it didn't fit anyone and I had planned to alter it. Looks like it's found the right doll. I think this will be Ena's default outfit for now.

Yes, they are addictive! I have a Chi on the way. She look great in that pink uniform, I love it on her!

Yet another outfit I bought on spec that ended up not fitting any of my girls. I do note the mixing of cultures and try to be sensitive about that, but she looks so stinkin' cute! Have a pair of boots with fur on them on order from ebay that I hope will work with this.

I also may have gone on to Alice's Collections and ordered way too much. I need to print out one of the free patterns for her and make her some bootie shorts to go with what I ordered. However, I doubt I'll see them before high summer. Love their stuff, but it takes so long and I'm so impatient!
