What a cutie! Most orange tabbies I've known or seen were male.

We THINK Pnmpkin is female. I've flipped this kitten over, lifted up her tail, and just overall poked, prodded, and violated her personal space to the point I'm almost sure it has to be a girl. I could still be wrong, but I THINK she's a girl.

She's so cute and precious. She's tripled in size, but she's still so small and tiny. And she gets into EVERYTHING.

I can confirm from the heat induced yowling that has kept my household awake for the last five nights that she is, in fact, a female, and apparently an early bloomer as well.

Also, she peed on my face yesterday when I was petting her while half asleep, so that was fun.

We won't be able to get her fixed until some time in January. Until then, she's on house arrest.

She'll settle down a bit once she's fixed. Just don't declaw her, because that could turn her mean.

We never declaw our cats, we let them roam around outside during the day, and they have to be able to protect themselves somehow if they get into a tight spot. At least now they'll have each other to help watch each other's backs.
