Ok, I believe that I have repaired the problem. I used my Testing ID (Yasha) which had the exact same problem as everyone else, and after fixing permission setting I went back in and was able to see all the forums and the New Topic buttons.
Sorry I'm such a newbie at it and goofed, but I believe it should work now.
Now, on to expanding our smilie collection and enlarging the file size of avatars!

I don't think avatars need to be bigger... I have dialup. And thank you for fixing this and giving us another place to play in! Kaguya, Eclipse, Luna, Stardust, Buki, Miss Muffet and the rest of my seldom mentioned brood thank you greatly!

Well, not bigger as in dimensions, but as in file size. It was really set far too small. I don't think the change will be noticeable - in fact I did it sometime yesterday so Cirque can finally load her avatar LOL
