Integrity Gloss Convention Amelie

Postby Mary Kathryn » Sun Jun 07, 2015 3:07 pm

Apparently this is the month that I leap back into the doll hobby wholeheartedly. I've been wanting an Integrity "Nippon" doll forever. I came across this gal who has that head on a Poppy Parker body with a fantastic faceup and is dressed in my favorite color. Bonus - she's really affordable for a PP/FR doll.

Had to buy her. 8-)

I cannot wait for her to get here.

On the downside I need to start putting up some of my collection for auction to make room for the new girls. Decisions, decisions.

Lucky you!! Nippons are gorgeous and I hope to either get one of them or perhaps a Tullabelle in the future.

Here's my pic of her. It is remarkably similar except that I took it. XD

I know she's a 500 run limited edition 2014 convention doll but honestly? Compared to the other Integrity dolls I own she seems a bit...cheaply made. Her legs are hollow and she's very lightweight. I'd say if you were able to get one of these for a reasonable price go for it. If it's over $80 skip it. Not to say that I don't like her. I do. Very much. She makes me think this is what Malibu Barbie would look like with a Hollywood makeover.

In other news I snapped up a nude Dynamite Girls London Calling Dani. She's as heavy as a rock. :p She didn't stay nude for long as you can see.

Aaaaand I'm done buying for now. XD

I love the Dynamite Girl sculpts. I have London Calling Dayle! She's wearing the Pop Life 50th Anniversary Barbie outfit.

The London Calling girls strike me as 60s chicks, so I look for vintage style for Dayle. Right now she's wearing a cute pink golfing outfit, complete with bag, balls, clubs and a tiny score card. LOL The only part she's not wearing is the pink plastic visor because I don't want to risk messing up her hair style.
