WIP - Baby Fox Torso

The colder months are a time for sculpting, since Gerald can't cast resin due to the temperature. I have been a slave driver and this is what he has done so far. I want baby foxes to go with my Dollzone Fox (and other friends have asked for them too). This is Sculpey, with glass beads for the balls. The mottled effect is in the material, but the torso is actually vey smooth. Gerald needs to work on a few things still - the shoulder blades, hip sockets..., but it's coming along nicely. There are a lot of hours in this little doll already! He's considering making the torso two part also. I like it as a one part, and I love the little tummy!! We are planning to have them ready to cast up in the spring. So - please tell us what you like and help me encourage my artist!

One piece definitely for the tummy. That's one of the things I love about my Orientdoll. And I never would have thought of glass beads when sculpting joints.

Um....do I really need to say I like it? I think baby foxes should have BIG EARS!!! Not only that - if they have no tails, or option tails then they can double as CORGIS!!!! (Greyhaunt wants a Corgi BJD more than anything!!!)

Well, here's a little secret - we are planning for faceplates, and there could be a special Corgi one...

Cuteness! I bet I could use a big eared little fox as a base for my doll tribute to my Sugar glider Lillie.
