This particular soap can re-melt but it degrades a bit.

Companion cube ice trays were found on Think Geek. They actually would be 1/6 scale, if not a little small for them. If I can get to it later today I'll put one of my Obitsu with it and take a picture.

I picked up the pine tar itself from a boating place, no idea what they use it for there. XD I just put two tablespoons or so in a (hot process in the crockpot) batch of soap. The pint of it I got is going to last years at this rate. XD

I think pine tar is used to waterproof wood boats. Piney!

anyway I sort of started an owl embroidery piece. it hurts to do it more than an hour tho.

Try Amazing Mold Putty for molding stuff. It's a bit greasy but it's also food safe. I got some good molds of doll heads I made a few years ago. I've also used the Mold Builder in a jar, have plenty of fresh air, with decent results.

I'm considering throwing out alot of my early doll clothes *probably not the stuff made out of real kimono cloth* and making some new hanfu on the boys at least. I'm so much better at sewing and patternmaking and I don't know how.

I gave my first convertible cowl to a friend who knew how it was supposed to be worn. I need to rework the others I made-it works fine -if you wear it as intended. Richi's was actually made right.

decided to sculpt a head and shoulders for a cloth doll and I'm between estatic it looks like a face (I'm going to paint the eyes and hair on to mimic a 1830's doll I liked) and pounding my face on the desk cause the face needs to be cut off and reput on to have a proper proportion from the sideview.

Spending some of the holiday season catching up on faceups and other similar details involving paint. I am also giving serious consideration to flocking a horse. Still need to get some proper supplies for rooting hair... much to do... moving dolls onto new bookcase is incentive to get work done.
