Fingers crossed this will end up as a working ball joint doll with locking joints. No exact scale or size in mind, just the goal of a working doll.

To update that doll the Paperclay is holding. The thigh and hip sockets are shaping but the weather has been damp so drying is taking awhile. That's a big thing, let the layers dry in between.

Past prombles have been with getting hip and knee sockets to work right so this is a key step for me.

I am crocheting my first pair of socks. I found a pattern that only uses one stitch and has an easy increase. I have huge feet and most patterns are too difficult for me to double the increase without a problem.

I've tried to knit a sock by hand and with a sock loom but ended up frogging them. The afterthought heel method looks like a good one to try, it might work with crochet too.

For my birthday today, my sister gave me a "Celestial Princess" Aurora 17" doll and made a GORGEOUS purple gown for her instead of the hot pink dress she came in!!!

Also, today we were working on my Aurora 17" LE doll gown to be redone in purples!! So far, it's coming along really well! I'm so pleased with the results so far!! She's looking gorgeous!!!

I also bought some perfect fabric for my 17" Elsa doll to have a more accurate cape!! (And redid her factory faceup since I really didn't like it at all!)

Will hopefully have photos of all this weekend to post on DS!!

I am still working on my socks. i am not used to anything for people with rows I actually have to count. I have a cowl pattern for super bulky yarn that I plan to make for Christmas presents.

I've decided to drop the lolita outfit for Amiga, at least for now. I have to focus on school and I want to make Christmas stockings too. There's just a lot on my plate.
