The Annie's Attic doll is working fine.

I am really fascinated by these dolls! Thank you for sharing them. I can't wait to see this one done.

Thanks. The Annie's Attic pattern is by far the way to go, watch the price though. It's more time consuming but the results are much better. The only stitch I had to look up was a double crochet 2 stitch decrease thing. That's a size 10 thread and a 7 hook for a Little, bigger yarn bigger hook bigger doll.

I've had to order a set of Clover soft touch hooks to do all this thread work, the nut on the interchangeable head set I've been using is rubbing me the wrong way.

The finished head and body of the Annie's Attic doll. This is closer to what I wanted, it only depends on my skills to work.

That looks great! The shaping is very good, and your rounds are even. I'd say the other pattern was the issue. I look forward to seeing more of the project.

Thanks, It definitely was the other pattern. And I'm using a much more comfortable to hold hook.

I really must recommend the AA pattern, there's a couple of tricky decreases at the chin and hips but it's pretty fool proof.

She's fully armed.

Plans are to make a bed doll pillow form for her lower half and one of those outfits.

Is she also dangerous?
In all seriousness though, she looks good. Except maybe her arms seem a little short? But maybe that's just me.

Could be, the first time with a new pattern is like making that first pancake. Future crochet dollies will get the kinks worked out.
