Done. Well, it is now. The lining wasn't in when I took the picture a few hours ago!

Just because I haven't fully succeeded yet, haven't made locking joints, doesn't mean I haven't stopped trying to make a doll.

The envelope shaped screen and the smaller mold.

I have two Arnold Grummer kits and if you tend to go through a fair amount of paper this is a great way to recycle it. You just need a blender on your end. The brown sheets have more cereal boxes in them than some of the others. I use handfuls of torn up paper to make my pulp.

Just finished my Queen Elsa tiara/crown for my Halloween cosplay this year. ^^ It was amazing how hard it was to knead the super sculpey because of my shoulder injury! :whew: I am doing MUCH better than in Feb/Mar/Apr but even now, when I work on detailing or kneading or twisting items with my right hand, I'm in pretty bad pain again.

However, it was worth it. I saw the Disney store tiaras, considered buying them, but, while beautiful, they were pretty inaccurate. ^^;; So I went about making my own that looked more like the tiara in the film. I cast it in resin so it's lighter than the super sculpey and quite a bit more durable.

I've also been gathering the fabrics/materials for the dress and completed the wig a few weeks ago. I wanted to use a lace front wig so that it would look really natural along the hairline, since she has a widow's peak. So, I bought a lace front that had a slight widow's peak, accentuated it and restyled the entire wig to have Elsa's hair and braid. I can't wait to try it on but I had to resist since I wasn't in good enough shape to be holding and pulling and trying it on my head. (My stupid shoulder!) Hopefully, I'll be able to test it soon!!! :excited:

...And I finally got in all the correct fabrics [some were soooooooooo hard to locate but I'm very satisfied with what I've accumulated] now for Elsa and am just debating what to do for my sister's Anna costume. (Her coronation gown.) I really want to embroider her skirt panels, but we don't have an embroidery machine, nor have I ever used one. I have hand embroidered before so I might just go that route, but....it's at least 72 times on the skirt and a big pattern on the front as well as a smaller patter on the back. ^^;; That's a LOT of embroidery...... :shock: And with my shoulder/arm not in peak condition, I wonder if it's possible right now. ^^;;

Well, all I can do it try, right? :)

Wish us luck!!!!!!
