You should have applied while you were still pregnant. All that extra, awkwardly positioned weight would have given you (wait for it...) a leg up.

badum-ching!

EDIT: booyah, that was my 2000th post. Does that mean I have posted 2000 silly things? Maybe one or two were serious... heheheh.

Posting it here because it's both a rejoice and a suck. I went to a bi-annual doll show with several friends from the local doll group and had a lot of fun. I pounced on a NIB Effanbee Pretty Party Patsy that I have wanted for about a year at a fantastic price. I was all squeeeee! Until I got her home and took her out of the box. She's adorable and I love her outfit, but I really dislike her hair, which is rather thin and reminiscent of what some poorly crafted Monster High hair feels like. And then there's her eyes. Huge dead-doll eyes with no way to change them out or move them.

Sigh.

yeah, staking it is the next option. I put about 150 pounds of brick on the bottom of of it earlier and that didn't help...

i just saw Frozen with a lot of middle school friends ... that was the first movie i didn't cry about in F O R E V E R, but only because it was predictable. i loved it so much, though! i really loved it!
i really felt for Elsa during her whole plight and especially during "Let It Go." it was a perfect example of how a lot of people end up when bottling up their emotions, sans the endangering an entire country part. maybe not. i know Obama's gonna crack soon, we're all gonna die!!!
also, i'm still so in love with Menzel's voice. i've been hearing her since i was really little, so hearing her in a new movie makes me hype!

I have that one and while her hair isn't great, mine is pretty good so I kept her as is. Washing it really helped. However, my second one's hair was so bad, I pulled her wig off and replaced it. I have seen a tutorial about changing out her eyes too, but I don't mind the way they look. (I'm pretty sure you have to cut into the head to get into the eyes.) I have replaced their bodies with the new ones with wrist and elbow joints.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Just did a Verbal Reasoning Assessment for a job app - Worst Desgined Aptitude Test Ever.

I know I'm not amazing at these things, but I'm not awful either - and this thing was Horrible. 60seconds per question, which by the end of the increasingly difficult test - meant reading at least 2 sides (Word style sides) within 60s and answering difficult comprehension qs.s full of jargon... Since if you did Well the test got More Difficult... Yep I got timed out on a question... FFS most of these things have an Overall Time Limit not 60s per qs.

Treated to Olive Garden for the first time today. If I'm invited to go back by someone I will but I see no reason to pay for it myself. Know what I mean?
