Woohoo! The awesome husband procured the necessary cables for me to pull pictures off my cell phone. Yay! Now I shall inundate you with images of my progeny.

Image

A few hours old...

Image

My 5 yr old niece brought him a Hobbes. I think he likes it!
(the blue is from his "glow bug suit". It was a little light bag for jaundice.)

Image

Home in the bassinet. This thing is from the 1950s and at first I was leery of using it but it means I can keep him in whatever room I'm in. It's on wheels!

Image

Random expressions. It's nearly impossible to catch him with his eyes open. Little guy sleeps a lot.

Baby inundation complete!

He's beautiful, Trethowan! :)

Is his hair blonde or light brown?

Handsome lad, Trethowan! Hold him all you can...they grow quickly and before you know it, he's 12 and wants you to walk on the other side of the street from him!

He's so beautiful! Congratulations again!

Kenaiqueen - XD I have a feeling by the time he's twelve he'll be trying to claim Ivan as his own.

Is his hair blonde or light brown?

It seems to be mostly light brown and it sort of blends into a blond peach fuzz. He almost has sideburns, it's hilariously cute. Everyone says that the hair they're born with will fall out around month 3 then their permanent color will grow. The light brown is DEFINITELY not from me or his dad, my husband has nearly black hair and mine was auburn. :-p I think he looks like a blend of my sister and hubby's brother actually. Weird!

SO TRUE!! I'll be sure and embarrass him plenty. Payback for labor. hehehe... He's already grown a pound since he was born and is an inch taller.

Nooooooooooooo.... I had half a mind to keep my office locked so no wee hands could risk breaking my dolls. I'm not sure Ivan could survive child's play.

PODLING!! That is so cute! Thanks again everyone. I feel like I've totally hijacked the rejoice thread. Oopsies!

XD Hey if you start him off young, he might be a doll hobbyist one day too.

Anyways glad to hear he's doing well. He's got a great mom.

All babies either look like Queen Victoria or Winston Churchill. I'm voting Winston Churchill here. Good looking kid!
