Greetings from Sweden!

Postby Min » Sun Feb 16, 2014 9:42 am

The name's Emma, a cheerful lass of 22 years from fair Sweden's west coast.

I got my first doll a few years ago but avoided communities; mainly because - to be completely honest - a lot of them just seemed unpleasant and kind of off-putting.
But then I stumbled in here, and this place seems nice and friendly. And what a wealth of sub-fora to frolic in! :D Furthermore, there seems to be a lovely lack of elitist snarkiness and fights that don't go anywhere
Hobbies are about having fun, no?

I'm sure I'll have a great time here, and I hope you'll enjoy having me!

I have RS Lian (my first), as well as RS Long (because a part of me thought she was lonely ^^' ), and I just recently put in an order for a Lightning from MiroDoll . She was rather "unplanned"; I browsed through their website for the first time, spotted her and was smitten. She looks strong and confident, even a bit cocky - love it! I'd like to tweak her facial proportions a little, though, so I'll probably mod her once I can get to it.

I've actually been sitting here for a while now, considering AoD's Yuki, since the sculpt is so lovely. Seems like so much can be done with her, but I have no idea what I'd want to do. While pondering that, I've also been looking into finding the right doll for a character I have, though maybe it'll be best to post about that somewhere else, to avoid starting discussions among the introductions (and I seem to drag on with more than was asked of me, heh).

As for pictures, I sadly have no camera. YET. I think I've settled on one that should suffice, so I'll be getting that as well - at which point there shall be pictures!

Thank you everybody for the warm welcome! :)

(and sorry about my fondness for brackets, it's just become a habit for squeezing in more without disturbing flow)
