Nice bodice!
I am crocheting and knitting. Christas is a-coming one fingerless mitt and one mitten left to crochet. I get to knit myself a scarf once all gifts are done. Itis really hard looking at my luscious pumpkin yarn and my big needles and not using them. I finished a fuschia scarf for my best friend on Saturday.

So far so good.

It's Edwardian so the bodice is supposed to billow, the ruffles will add the length to the skirt. This is working with size 20 thread, and hasn't used all of a Lizbeth batch yet, and size 10 steel hook or what ever you'd need to get a 13 stitch per inch gage. Instead of doing it all single crochets I used double and treble where I could in repeat rows. A second color will be added but I'm looking to see how far one will go.

After this dress and a rest I'll look in to trying one of the bigger floofier ones.

*Just finished the sleeves and it looks like 1 ball/skein/thinggie of Lizbeth size 20 will make the bulk of the dress. Might need to add another for extra ruffles and lace.

Rerooting again. I had wanted to use the copper colored hair but it wasn't going to work out. Will be painting and robofying her when she's done.

Next another set of My Little Time Lords. Waiting to see what Twelve wears but I think I could start him with brown skin and grey hair.

Unicorn Four so not to confuse it with my pegasus Four so yes, they will be galloping off eventually.

How does black skin and brown hair sound for the Capaldi Pony?

I needed to sew something, so I started on some simple winterish daytime dresses for my Patsy dolls. First up is a purple floral sleeveless dress that will go over a tee shirt.

Anon. is now in pieces - prep for Dremel attack v.nearly finished... He's staring wistfully at the pile of parts that make up his body right now. Gods it's so hard finalising sexy male android line designs - it kept swinging between *ahem* Jude Law in AI style and Iron Man - getting that balance so it's not a mecha but an android without veering into gigolo territory - sheesh. Even now I'm not 100% on the navel area and it's had weeks

Edit: And as for the EL illumination plans - well it's a good thing I'd held off from buying anything until after I'd finalised lines. I think I'll be able to get away with 1 set of panelling and 1 short-ish length of wire. The real risk will be space-related.

I'm gonna get 2 battery pack types - 1 small and 1 of the slightly larger more standard types that take AAAs (by the EU sizings), I really really hope the teeny battery pack will fit in the chest compartment so I can have 2 separate circuits going - otherwise there's going to be some really risky wiring (Not dangerous - just at a v.v.high risk of breakage when attempting restringing and possible issues with reduced mobility) running between the lower and upper torso.

From the scale of the bjd I think I'll need one small A5-sized EL panel (with electrode trim all the way around to allow it to be separated out) and "fairy-hair" sized EL wire since standard EL wire would look too thick at 1/3 scale.

I found 6 tiny crochet dresses i made that never looked right on Myri-but are perfect for Richi. I want to add some crochet lace in a contrasting color so I can tell their clothing apart at a glance. I also have 2 dresses that I made for Richi before she arrived that don't have snaps yet. I crocheted her wig from super thin cashmere. This evening I plan to switch out her eyes from black beads to 4mm walnut eyes. A friend of mine has a boot crochet pattern for these dolls-but I may beg to pay her to make me a pair.

She has inspired me to blog again-it is amazing! Richi is 5cm-apx 2 inches tall and double jointed.
