Hey, us late bloomer baby boomers rock. We'll raise a generation on 70s and 80s references and nobody else will know what our kids are talking about. hahahaha "Let loose the Kraken!!!!

Congratulations to you too! :D
Since my DVD player has some limited internet access, my son has already seen some episodes of the first Ultraman series and he thinks The Muppets "Mahna Mahna" is hilarious. When he was still a newb, I discovered that playing early Thomas Dolby songs would calm him. So yeah, looks like my kids are going to be living in a popular culture time warp for a while.

Just like Daddy!!! Thanks for popping in. We miss you!!! Congrats on the little mini-me's. I don't know if the world needs more of you, but I can only hope they take after mommy. ;)

So far, my son looks more like his Mom's side, so that's a relief! We'll just have to use daddy as an example of how you don't want to grow up. :o

Geeks raise the best kids! I have been playing Pokemon with my son for the last 16 years and he will be 21 in December.

But you know my kid is going to be a jock, right? He'll want to play football, chase skirts, and buy a muscle car at sixteen. "But Mom, I don't wanna cosplay, but Mom, I don't wanna go to that stupid Con. There's a game this weekend! Gah, you're so weird, why can't I have normal parents like all the other kids." /tantrum

haha... just teasing. He'll be who he is. It will be fun getting to know the little person trying to escape my belly. It's weird man, I can see my stomach move now where he kicks and rolls over, etc. All I can think is... Chestburster!!!!

My son's already chasing skirts at 15 months! God knows what he'll be like as a teenager. And I'm kinda prepared for him to be a jock although his Dad was unfortunately born without a sports gene. Maybe he'll at least be like my nephews that live nearby who are scholar-athletes. The oldest just started college, working towards a degree in chemical engineering, after choosing an academic scholarship over an athletic scholarship.
When my son was still in his mom's belly, he was pretty wiggly but oh, holy cow, his sister has him beat! I didn't know they could move that much. And yeah, we've discussed Alien also. I joked with my wife last week that we'll show the kids the infamous dinner table scene when they ask how babies get here.

Thank you! Wes already has three GI Joes and a couple weeks ago, he took off with my Dust Koshka Rudinova. I got her back but that's when I realized "Oh, he can reach that shelf now". Baby Sis will probably be getting a Lalaloopsy for Christmas even though she'll be a bit too young to appreciate it just yet.

Hey guys, SilverBeam is doing a fundraiser so she can start casting resin dolls and making larger 3d printed dolls. I'm planning on donating next payday. She hasn't raised any money for it yet and she has a little over a month. Her designs are really cute and I'd like to see how she does with resin as well as see how the bigger dolls turn out. Here's a link to her indigogo- http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/3d-pr ... cast-dolls. If you can donate Thank you.

I'll admit it, at first I laughed at the idea of 'donating' to someone's for-profit business but I see that it's set up like a kickstarter with perks for various amounts given. Perhaps if this venture doesn't work she can take out a business loan to pay for the equipment needed. I like to see people do well in business, especially in our less than perfect economy.

Sometimes all you need is casting equipment or some other thing that's just a bit beyond your reach. When we were trying to get our car there came a time where we literally needed a paltry sum but might have had to wait with the car sitting in our driveway until our next pay day.

Well, we finally found my sister's teen Skippers so mine will be getting their choice of the bodies and her's with the ratty hair get rerooted. She hasn't touched them for like 20 years and only wants the horses and pets. Talking some seriously cute big eyed face molds like the one I just rerooted. It's got me wanting to cull a lot of my hoard so there's more room for PTEs and Monsters.
