Projects: In Progess or Ideas? What'choo Workin' On?

Does moving count as a project? Perhaps it does. All of the dolls are now at the new house. It feels weird with them all gone like this. I can't wait to get the new photography station set up in my office and start doing photostories again!!!! I hope you'll like what I've got planned. :-p

Epic face-up time done! Ran out of light, so no photos today I'm afraid. It got a bit hairy when I thought the sealant had gone funky on the Saints; it came out all satiny/almost shiny for one of the layers for no apparent reason... But the final layer was matte again, so I really hope there's nothing funny going on! *paranoia*

Dollshe Van - ended up looking strangely 70s, it didn't look that way at all until I tried his wig on, and yep he really looks like he's walked straight out of Life On Mars!

Nano Freya was a a bit of a mess to be honest... I still suck at smaller scales!

Oh and Doll Family A Yanji received a more ...elaborate look. It fits his character far more than his old one did, though I know it wont be to most people's tastes! However as Dr Franknfurter said: "I didn't make him, for you!"

I'm working on a journal for Audrey. She loves hicking and writes her trips in a journal. And after some thinking and watching book making tuts online I decided it should not be an actual book but something more practical and made this cover for her out of duct-tape. In which she can swap the journal's pages for new ones or disgard a page if it's not to her liking.
Now I only need to make the inside which will be somewhat like a booklet with lines and a bit of a harder cover which I can slide in the pockets of the duct-tape cover. And in which I will glue things like small leafs and tiny flowers, some drawings of the outdoors and ofcourse pieces of text of the hicking Audrey did. And maybe some blank pages as well.
I think this is a fun project to be doing. And depending on how much fun I will be having making the actual journal I might make some more as of course she did a lot of hicking and would have some volumes of her journal already filled up with info.

DollyHair.com Stormy Sky (green grey) looks stunning on a Monster High Frankie. I don't know what the blue is because it was part of a grab bag but it's a dull color. About half way finished here.

I'm working on several nun costumes. The mock-up is done now, but it had a tabard and belt. One of the girls in the costume shop had to try it on. She wore it around for like an hour, I guess, while I wasn't there. They sent me this picture.

Working on what I guess could be a restoring reroot. My first Teen Courtney had dry frizzy hair, as it turns out the English Toffee hank I bought is almost a perfect match. Anastasia wouldn't be the same with a different color. Now she'll have soft brushable hair instead of a bad 80s perm. The hardest part might be thatching the partial row for the bangs.

I don't have any pics to share right now, but I'm working on some simple clothing so my boy won't be naked when he arrives ^^ I've made a couple plain white t-shirts, and now I'm finishing up a pair of plaid shorts and jean capris. Maybe I'll get some pictures taken soon...

Totally forgot the before pic, she's a Cool Tops Courtney who must have got a bad home perm from Skipper. The color I'm using is about the same but brighter.
