Heyla! <3 I'm Elley (or Shelley, Roxxi, Rochelle, Rikki... But I mostly go by Elley online). I've been thinking about buying a dollie (or "dollieh" if you will) off and on for 10 years now, and haven't partly because of the rather prohibitive cost, and partly because I know that once I decide to buy one, that will merely open the gates of a tide of dolls. Then I recently started hanging out with my good buddy AlmySidaKay again, and her gorgeous dollies make me JEALOUS!
Soooo... I've decided to take a part time job for the holiday season, working weekends at Bath and Body Works (on top of my full time accounting job) to make money for a dollie. That's right. I'm working a second job to buy dollies. My husband thinks I've spilled my Fruit Loops, but I get the feeling y'all will understand.
I was going to get an MSD (ok, I was going to get three MSDs - don't judge) because I found three that I really liked the look of, and I couldn't find an SD with the right face I wanted for my first dollie friend. Then the clouds parted and a sunbeam came lancing through the dreary sorrow of my soul when AlmySidaKay, in all her generous and gorgeous wisdom, pointed me to the perfect doll. I put the Two.S.Dolls Vivi on layaway at MoC, and I can't wait to start my new job so I can start paying her off and she can come home to me! I've also picked out her first wig, eyes, outfit, and shoes, which I'll order as I get closer to paying her off. And I may already be looking at patterns and going through my fabric bin for good dolly dress materials... Oh, and I have my eye on a second dollie, which is also on sale right now at MoC before she's discontinued (a DollZone Morphoa), with plans to put her on layaway as well in 2 weeks. Because every doll deserved a friend!! And at the end of the holiday season if I still have money after paying off Micki (the Vivi) and Momo (the Morphoa), I'll either buy them MORE THINGS! orrrrr get an MSD Bobobie Rong Girl (who looks just like my neighbor Lexi, if Lexi had elf ears...)

Oh, I'm 27, I think I mentioned I'm married (my husband thinks I'm crazy for buying "really expensive action figures, basically," but I don't give HIM crap for buying and building gundams, so who is he to judge?), I have two cats that like to sleep on me whenever possible and one very naughty dog. I'm an accountant (which I think I also mentioned here) and I hate my job, so I need a little dollie joy in my life. I love readin, singing, drawing, comics, anime, games of any variety, Disney, 80's nostalgia, and, oh, pretty much anything cute or brightly colored. My favorite color is yellow, I'm a scorpio and love the water, and my favorite animal is an otter.
Is that enough information overload for ya? ^,~ I'm SO excited to be here, and I hope to learn lots about dollies from y'all! <3
