I can find a thigh-length light-weight olive jacket every single autumn, except this year when I need one for Halloween and Super Boston Megafest. Now the only jackets out are legitimately parkas. I checked all three department stores after work today, both men's and women's section. Nada. There was a perfect jacket at Sears but it was fleece-lined. I need to be able to comfortably wear it indoors for long periods of time (especially as I plan to wear this costume to multiple conventions, including a couple in the summer).

The batteries for my TENS unit died today. So I limp to my bestie's office and say, "Do you have 2 AAA batteries? My vibrator died.", with a straight face. She has been in loads of pain lately, too, but she burst out laughing. She started laughing even harder when the boy (well, he's 22) who sits across from her turned pink and walked out. We were in her office, giggling like maniacs. I <3 her.

Well, that was the highlight of my day. I think this is why we aren't in the same office. Lol

And cupcakes. Mustn't forget cupcakes. They just put a cupcake kiosk in the center court at the mall. And there is actually a TRUCK that sells nothing but cupcakes running around Lancaster! Like an ice cream truck but ... with cake! I wonder if it plays a little jingle as it drives around the city, tempting people to go running after it to buy cupcakes.

I guess when they stick a bacon kiosk in the center court and a bacon truck starts driving around Lancaster playing jingles, then I'll know the world has officially ended.
