“Voyager has boldly gone where no probe has gone before" stated by John Grunsfeld, NASA’s associate administrator for science in Washington; leads me to believe that he also grew up a Star Trek fan. :D :D :D

I remember watching the news when it reached Neptune.

This car thing has got me not knowing what to think. Last I heard was Thursday or Friday night, this morning still haven't heard squat. If I even talk about ordering something, anything, that starts a fight because that could be the "magical" amount of money that would pay off the last of the fees. I don't know if it's being brave or irresponsible to take up that argument. All I feel is that my past experiences of people saying they'll help and then not is starting to be reinforced.

*Tonight or tomorrow. Believe it when I see it. Car is said to be beige. Still feeling like I could explode. Looking forward to seeing pictures of Hujoo kittens.

No, it is not.

Perhaps this will help.

I went to a local flea market with my dad and this made my day.

For a moment I thought it was a pet festival.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

Bitty bitsus remind me of Gully dwarves. *sigh* and the 1/6 Hujoo dolls make me think of Kender.

...Gods; been back in my parents house for less than 48 hours, already we've had the confrontational mood swings out of nowhere from the Smother, a hypocritical lack of interest in house work when she's not interested in it but shouting when I'm actively trying to do other things (such as ...job applications) and the statement of dislike which boils down to "I hate your personality". I think I'm going to jump on the 1st job I can get that pays well enough to let me move out... The house is even more full of crud than when I left, most of which is furniture we don't need and old magazines (but not forgetting the 2 and a half motorbikes in pieces - an engine is under the dining room table... and the multitude of pyrex dishes that keep appearing out of nowhere).

My box room currently is a far more literal use of the term than I feel comfortable with, there is space for boxes, and the bed and that's it. I've got no hope in hell of actually having any of my uni stuff unpacked, let alone the dolls I think I'm lucky that there was enough space in my bedroom to just pile it up in here since I spent most of yesterday moving boxes off of my bed so I could get in it in the evening... And I thought my tiny single room was bad this year!! How the hell did it get this bad when I was away???

...Oh yes and now it is the oh so mature silent-treatment, whilst 2 out of 3 members of the household have fled from the only comfortable room in the building to avoid the atmosphere... F*** it I'm going to play video games in self defence!

Life just gets more fun, still no car, and now the other people on the lot were making repairs on the sucky plumbing and capped off the pipe that provides all the water to our house because they thought it went to the sprinklers. Heaven forbid the guy wanted to brink his plumbing truck back out last night, he'll be here eventually today. If we had a car we would buy the 2 adaptors and length of pipe it would take to fix it. The hose in the front yard is our only source of water so we aren't dying.

*Plumbing got fixed. Anyone who wants to write a sit-com is welcome to pay me for situations.
