Definitely advertise. I don't even know what your comics are called or where to read them o__o

well I do have that link in my signature to the one.

http://memoryoftreescomic.tumblr.com/ here is the other, there's only about 14 pages so far.

sewing tiny 1/6 collar = severe pain in the butt.

forgive lack of caps, typing with one hand, cannot let go of collar...

Are you in a webcomic community? That gives you a fair bit of advertising in itself ...

I'm not currently in a webcomic community, but that's a good idea.

Your drawing style is unique and well done. I love the look. I love your story lines too.

What I'm having a hard time is the set up of the web page. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out that the first page of the comic was at the bottom. Honestly, I just don't like the webpage set up.

I think if you over-haul the webpage and look into joining some web comic communities you would get more traffic. Unfortunately this gets into more marketing than actual artistry and talent. It's all in the advertising,

well its not a webpage I designed. its just tumblr, there's no way of getting the first comic at the top unless I buy my own domain and set up a dedicated website. I have been debating about it for a while, but I have been hesitating about investing the money in it.

Have you considered a free hosting site like Comic Fury or something similar in the meantime? http://comicfury.com/index.php You would still need to do your own advertising and everything, but it would help with the format issue that Tumbler has.

Ooh, sniped! :p

So, I'll just add that some of the 'free' (I put it in quotes as while it doesn't cost money, there are usually advertisements on your comic's pages which is what pays for your use of the site) sites actually do a little internal cross comic advertising of comics they host so there is a little bit more advertising then completely standalone, so finding a hosting site that has features you like and comics you don't mind being associated with are things to keep in mind (it actually took me almost a year to realize that keenspot was a host, rather then a couple people and the various comics they drew).

I also follow a few webcomics on deviantArt, but even moreso then tumblr, dA isn't designed for serial picture stories, it is nice once caught up on a number of comics as I get them all together. ^.~
