time to start taking apart my brother's bed. maybe if I get the room ready, we'll start making it into my office so I can have a place to work quietly.

...Watching Robert Carlyle as an alcoholic priest - except I'm seeing Nicholas Rush rather than Father Whatever-His-Name-Is, likely due to him having the same haircut and 3 day scruff...

Hmm... I really think tensile data from earlier today is completely worthless... Argh... I suspect the load cell wasn't correctly attached to the grips.. :(

Hot Toys Eric Draven/The Crow looks amazing - the level of detailing on this figure is gorgeous! But can't justfiy buying a $200 figure of a character that I only think is cool rather than actually like. I admire rather than enjoy the film really, it's odd!

But this made me realise/remember - I still haven't been charged for/sent my Hot Toys Loki!! Checked on the site in question and it says that they're still waiting for stock on my order page, but the product page says the item is sold out... O.o I hope there hasn't been a mixup somewhere

For some reason I keep imagining Lafayette singing Joanna's song from Sweeny Todd; you know the one that goes like "Green finch and Linnet Bird, nightingale, black bird, teach me how to siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing." He has a beautiful voice in my head, very mature but there's a speck of hidden childishness. Kind of somber but never outright and depressing. Just slightly dreary as if he was weighed down with too much too soon and is trying to act like more of an adult than he really is.

whelp, I can go to midoricon and share a room with my friends, but mom is insisting dad drops me off at the hotel because my car has a tiny oil leak.

Was in the laundry room - with the traditional annoying radio channel on when James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" came on... 1) Gods that takes me back! 2) It wasn't the radio version of the song... lol

Because I'm occasionally psychic where it isn't really useful it looks like I've had a 12th Doctor hanging around for awhile. One of the models in my Doctor inspired pattern book I published back in 2010 has a bit of a resemblance.

He's the Monty Python Dead Collector with some work but the resemblance is enough for him to gain entrance in to the Who fort. And he's been standing on the shelf in the Brit section next to his new friends for a little while.

So I showed Lafayette a few Episodes of Black Butler. I wanted to show him what inspired his story, but he could hardly see the parallel. *Sighs* The similarities are noticeable but not really the focus. There is no demon butlers, no revenge, no strong feelings of hatred. The only way they are alike is that is focuses on a wealthy young English man who has lost his parents and is rather cold. Then I put on Squid Girl and Lafayette lost interest altogether.

It's official. My baby is now the height of Chibi Ivan. Today's ultrasound revealed a squirmy little rascal. That kid really likes to wave his/her arms around. I got to see the images of tiny fingers, crossed legs, even the impressions of the face (though vaguely.) It was really cool. It shall henceforth be known as Karate Baby: Master of the Chop n' Block.
