Hi! I'm really new at this BJD stuff :P

So new in fact that I haven't even really started yet!

I've been lurking around the BJD community online on and off for a long time wishing I could afford one, mostly so I could make miniature clothes and things. I'm pretty crafty and one of my favorite hobbies back in the day was making historical and fantasy clothing. You wanna talk about an expensive hobby? XD At least now I'll only have to buy around 1/9th as much fabric... and it will be much easier to convince my doll to pose for pictures than it was to convince other humans...

Anyhow, today I just put in my first order at Mirodoll! I'm really excited, and I think I'll start making clothes and hair right away so my new doll won't have to sit around naked and bald.

Also, I'll be hanging around here reading tutorials and looking at photos of everyone else's dolls while I wait for mine to arrive!

So yeah, hello forum people!
I'm not an artist, I just make stuff...

Thanks for the warm welcome! Got sidetracked for a few days, but this (long!) weekend I'm starting on the crafting in earnest :D

Edited to reply to yarwel: I ordered "Wind", but also their head #4, I'm not sure which one I will use yet. I thought I was going to use the head #4 because I didn't like the pics of the Wind head on their website, but I've since seen some pics of faceuped Wind dolls that might have changed my mind. I'll probably practice faceups on both til i get something I like and then decide hehe
