Awesome! I used to be a teacher's aide years ago for first and second graders, and I loved it, but unfortunately the pay sucked so I was forced to quit.

I guess it's a good thing, 'cause on THAT paycheck I would've NEVER been able to afford a hobby like BJD collecting.

Thanks guys :) I'm super excited! I don't want to go around telling everyone I know until after I get my paperwork all sorted out but I got an email from the principal today so it's really real (I got hired on the spot, and went in interviewing for a different job). Gah, I'm just a flailing ball of excitement right now!

We had Mila's ultrasound yesterday and she's indeed pregnant. We saw 3 wildly active kittens and our vet suspects there's a fourth. We're roughly expecting them between the 5th and the 19th of August, but I think it's gonna be somewhere around the 10th, 11th, 12th.. I can't wait!!!!!

Congrats Evelien! I'm so glad Mila is doing well and that everything sounds healthy!

My annual appraisal at work went pretty well, so that's one less thing I have to worry about. Yay!

>_< a story I submitted to notalwaysright.com was put up on the site!

It is the little things that make me happy :)

Also I'm pretty excited about AFI's new album, although it won't be out until October... I forgot I had signed up for a newsletter thingy and was surprised to get the announcement of their upcoming album release in my email. (There's a single out now from the upcoming album.)
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I just finished my first face-up job (on Angela), and it looks good. :)

I'm supposed to get a replacement camera around the first half of the coming month and then I'll be sure to show it off. Her head came from an unidentified backroom bin Midge (there were two of that doll, and I have the other and might ask for ID help after I get the camera, too, just for records), now stuck on a Liv Sophie body. The head was 'blushed' with a very thinned out lighter shade of paint to get it to match the body. It's now only a very slight bit darker than the Sophie body, and doesn't look like an unnatural match - more like what you'd get with the kind of person who tends to wear turtlenecks and long pants outdoors all the time and thus only gets the barest of tans on their face and none anywhere else (Being of Irish ancestry and chronically unable to tan, I've noticed this same thing in myself. XD)

But, enough babbling... my mind wanders like that, sorry. Angela looks a lot better now that she has a face again, instead of sitting around where I'd removed the Barbie factory makeup with a dremel. :)

My boyfriend Matt, popped the question this past Thursday! We both always joked about running off to Las Vegas, and so in an interesting turn of fate we've actually decided to do a destination wedding in Vegas in November of this year. I am beyond thrilled to be marrying my high school sweet heart, and it's been quite the amazing crazy year already.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
