Spiral suckdate- so I filed the complaint/ report at work but I think my random bouts of inexplicable paranoia are getting out of hand. I was laying in the quiet room at work during lunch, just about to drift off and my shirt kind of shifted after I rolled onto my belly and my first thought was "Oh crap someones touching me! It must be him." But of course no one was there. I mean he didn't seem like the stalker type but you never know with some people and I'm all like "Urggggh calm down Spiral."

Smother bitches I hoard DVDs in my room so I get all the DVDs in the house together in the TV room, now she bitches the DVD player isn't hooked up and she has to dust them, anything to complain. I kept them in my room to keep track of them and keep the dogs from eating on them. Exactly what I feared has happened, one of them is missing. I have to keep myself from swearing someone took it off the shelf to hide it while being asked if I even owned it in the first place.

Yes I f**king owned it. I make a list of all the DVDs I own so I don't buy copies.

*Found it where someone had put it flat against the back of a DVD shelf hidden by other movies only after I decided to put mine back in my room so none of the others would disappear. You can't gaslight some people. And when other people rearrange the TV room and move the DVD shelves they can't be bothered to pay attention to make sure the moves get back where they belong.

Yeah, it's started out as a grrrrrr day so it can only get better.

Went to go deposit a check this morning and to get some cash. CU is supposed to be open from 9-12 on Saturdays. Nope. Door is closed, sign says closed today and the date. No explanation whatsoever. It's not a federal holiday on Monday so I am like "What?" Apparently I am not the only one wondering. There's a long line at the ATM, but get this the ATM machine is not working!!!! Nor was I able to use my card at the grocery store. Nothing on their website, but I can't log on. Their facebook page is loaded with people asking what is wrong. No reply from the CU so far, and I have exactly $12 in my purse till Monday.

Oh, wow, magkelly! That's scary! We still have our credit union account (I've been forgetful about switching a direct deposit SSI check), but we have moved everything over to a bank. I do know that there was a big ad on my CU website a couple of days ago that has something to do with an apparent bill aimed at taxing credit unions, but I didn't read it and I doubt it has anything to do with what happened to you. I don't think CUs are covered by the FDIC, are they?

My stepfather is currently at the emergency room with what we assume to be a gallstone. He's been having issues for over a year now and I kept telling highest if he didn't want it to continue he'd have to change the way he ate. Sadly it looks like having an organ removed is easier than trying to change when there is still a chance.

Not that we don't all do the same thing in one area of life or another.....

Mom had her gallbladder removed almost 20 years ago and has been doing fine.

Yeah, my mom did too and is mostly fine. (Wish she'd remember to take ox bile)

When I started to have the same issue a few years ago I researched and then changed my diet. I went from multiple attacks.a week, to one every 2 or 3 months after I've been stupid for a day. And they're very mild now, nothing like before when the pain was excruciating and would last for hours.

Unfortunately I can't force him to quit eating the way he does. He has to want it himself.
