Dollieh temptations and plans

Good and bad news bank account-wise I think I've worked out which sculpt will be best for the final member of my drag-quen trio - Resinsoul Long in light tan. Good because he's relatively "inexpensive", bad becuase now that I've identified the sculpt that will work I'm much much more likely to eventually shell him! Doh! The only thing is the ears - he's supposed to be normal standard human, but I much prefer Long's facial structure to Feng's.

Eh this is all pie in the sky maybe next year thinking anyway. My doll budget has been thoroughly and comprehensively obliterated by Mr Dollshe... (Not even blown out of the water by a mine, think a 10MegaTon Nuclear Doomsday Device!!)

Hmm... That'll be interesting to work out the logistics for - Jerome will be the 1st to get such treatment, but the various padding things that make the androgynous/female look are going to be a challenge to work out! Maybe removable chicken-fillet style thingies made of epoxy (Ooh or Sugru?? Since Sugru is kinda squishy! )

I think Feng and Long are actually the same sculpt just with different ears. I'm pretty sure the face structure is the same. Perhaps, you should look at more owner pictures.

I'm not convinced they are the same sculpt - but I don't deny that it looks as though they're elf/human versions of the same person.

Looking closely at their nose shape and lip shape I think there are differences; Feng's nose is less dead straight and Long has a bit of a distinctive w shape to his lips.

Though I'd be happy to be convinced otherwise!

so here is an update- Fairyland refuse to sell me a sleeping face. They say they will not sell heads for an order placed over three months ago- given that it takes three months to get your order I find it a little unfair. They say its for ' managerial reasons' - sounds like a load of bull to me. It kinda annoyed me even though I am buying a whole other doll from them they still wont sell me another part. If it wasn't for the fact that I wanted a celine so badly I would tell them that I don't want to order from them anymore and would cancel my plans. kinda makes me mad but I'm not gonna cut off my nose despite my face

This one is for the folks eyeing the new Iplehouse EID bodies. From 19-25 June they are gonna sell body /body parts(?) separate from the heads.....

Kinda tempted to get a EID body now instead of getting a 2nd Dexter for alternate faceup later. I kinda like how the new body is double jointed but I barely had mine for a year and he's not damaged in the way my Obitsu was damaged when I replace their bodies. I also have 2 other doll line up to get (Souldoll Vito Elan and Iplehouse CDS SID type Luna)

At the rate I'm going I can forget about getting a pc

PopularFizzyDrink, there's a Monique wig that looks similar to the drawing you posted, it's called "Lucky" - maybe that could work?

Methinks Drax and Ramin will share a body for a while - Drax wont be happy about this! (Especially since I've got a feeling that the Dollshe Van will match the cream white resin better than the pure white head that is Drax... )

I've finally made a decision on my next doll.
I've been crushing on DZ Alpha since he came out, and really loved the fullset. Unfortunately the fullset is out of range of what I feel comfortable spending at this point.

But, my stupid little mind suddenly realized yesterday that I could save money if I buy his head and attach it to a RS body. Another upside to this is that his default body has a one piece torso, which would annoy me. I like posing.

With Christmas not too far in the future, I can ask my family to get the outfit, wig, etc... to complete him! I'm so happy!
