;P I've had my boy for 3 years now and I still don't always understand why he's meowing at us.

Madge meows when her food bowl is empty, she wants on the other side of a door, or to say 'hello' or 'play with me'. We try to get our pets to show us what they want. WIth Madge it's usually food, if she can see the bottom of the bowl it's empty, so she's learned to go "Ma-ow" and walk to her food to show us it's empty.

Next time there's a meow see if the cat wants something, even if it's petting.

There is just nothing like being woke at 4:45am to the sound of the sewer backing up into your bathtub....again. This happens about 4 times a year, but dangit, it just happened two weeks ago! Grrrrrrr and of course I'm a temp so I have no paid leave so I HAVE to go to work >< Already called maintenance, but it will be hours before they show up. Also opened the outside sewer access pipe - that relieves the pressure so I don't need to worry about a flood at least.

Oh man. Then I get to work and the entire system is down because the air conditioner broke in the computer room. Might be a short work day.

We had back ups with the septic tank until it was snaked and non flushable stuff was pulled out.

And to complete my trilogy of crappy day - I got sent home 3 hours early (so I'll have a REALLY short paycheck next week) AND when i got home a book I was waiting for had arrived....or at least I thought it had. It should have been Patterns of Fashion Vol 1. Instead it was a book on the language of flowers.
