Are the cameras in the iPhones good enough for every day pictures of dolls? And I distinctly mean Apple brand, might neeed to replace my point and shoot so...

My iPod touch has an okay camera but you need a lot of light. My iPad camera is awesome, but light is still an issue. Does your iPhone have a flash? Oh, the zoom feature blows chunks, btw.

First, it's been 2 years or more since I ordered from Custom House, but it took 6 months for the dolls to ship - and that was typical of their turn around time then. I don't know about now.

Second - take a look at these new Disney princess and villianess shoe ornaments - they appear to be SD size!

I am feeling really old, I'm having the worst time figuring out alot of the doll shop pages. half the time its like "is anything in stock? where are the prices? WHERE DO I DO THE ORDERING?"

I don't have one yet, I'm being pressured a bit to get a phone so I was wondering if the iPhone would work. I have an everyday little camera I use for day to day blog pics, and general doll pics for on line, it's usually on auto. We have better cameras that we already use for dark and stuff.

As for light most of my pics at my work table come out over exposed because the window is right there.

I have an HTC One S (Android) and that thing has an AWESOME camera. It's better than my Sony Cybershot.

And ... um ... I just bought a brand new car. O_o

Well, LEASED it, technically. 'Cause the payments were half the price, that way. I decided, after spending another $600 on my car for inspection this year (after buying $500 new tires last year) and being told I'd probably have to sink another $600 into it NEXT year, I'd be better off just getting a new car instead of spending all my money keeping the old one running.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED my little Suzuki and I'll miss it, but this new Rav4 is kinda fun. Lots of extra bells and whistles, two years of free maintenance and oil changes, an actual WARRANTY. And only 5 miles on the speedometer (which is the best thing of all).

Can I have your old car? We still need one. And I'm kind of in the iStuff boat when it comes to doodads. The camera isn't dead yet, I'm just wondering.

I wish there was someone around here who could trade some shoulder massage for doll making lessons or something. It's about all that stands between me and recovering enough to not be in pain while I root. Still from the car accident, couldn't write the sh*t that's still going on with it. If anyone does I'll license the story.

Hmm time to start looking around for someone who'll take a commission on a stage-accurate Franknfurter outfit for a bjd... And possibly an extreme Priscilla-style full drag outfit...

Since Jerome's body will be arriving at some point towards autumm I imagine... (Whilst Drax enjoys pushing boundaries about gender-lines, Jerome jumps over the line and gleefully turns around and stamps on it!)

Edit: Jerome is an odd one, despite being in hiding and trying to keep a low profile he does so by being as overt as possible on occassion!

Not a suck, but not a good thing either...

Trying (And failing somewhat) to edit my Lit. Review section of my dissertation...

On certain criticisms my supervisor has a point; the advice is constructive, fine I can do that it'll improve the thing (Which it desperately needs).

On other areas though? I just want to weep - this man does not appear to understand basic scientific terms, and indeed science. His annotations on my review are at times downright stupid! Asking why about things; where the explanation is thermodynamics, it's all about energy do you really want me to go into that in a biological review, really? And asking do these techniques differ, even though it's obvious from the names and the explanation of how said techniques work that they are totally different things; one involves 2 polymers the other uses only the one. I state that explicitly and well if the name wasn't a clue...

Ugh I know it's likely me being unable to edit my own work, but at the moment I want to cry in frustration - I just can't see what's wrong with bits that he hates, and can't see how to fix it since I'm from a totally different field of science to him, and explaining half of this damned stuff will take up more space than the essay so far if he really wants it.

Ugh and I'm avoiding the dreaded intro section like the plague, it's awful, I hate it, my supervisor hates it, I was trying to follow the horribly rigid "guidelines" for the order that my supervisor set for this dratted thing, and he thinks I didn't follow his advice at all argh... Can Not See How To Fix

I actually know how you feel. my prof had no idea of basic biology, would make me add in parts, then remove them then want me to add them back in, etc...

It should work just fine. Light will still be an issue. If you want to change the exposure, just tap the screen and experiment with it a bit.
