Hmm... Looking around at 68cm bodies (well between 65-70cm) for Vimes. So far there is:

Dollzone 68cm, ruled out only 1 torso joint in an odd place
Mirodoll 68cm, a bit too muscly for my tastes
Fantasy Doll 69cm, far too thin
Popdoll 68cm, front runner at the moment - excellelnt posing and thin but muscled (Vimes is kinda sinewy in my head, skinny but strong)

But any other suggestions?
Edit: Also totally forgot:

Loongsoul 68cm - he's quite muscly but also sinewy looking too

do you all buy doll clothes from the doll companies or other people more or less when you don't make them yourselves?

Vetinari--Impldoll's Idol body is kind of a nice average. Not too skinny, not too beefy. Might be taller than what you're looking for though? They list it as being 72cm with a head. http://www.impldoll.com/goods.php?id=589

I buy them clothes, ummmm, I think it's an even mix. Like, I just put in a small order at Dollmore for some MSD clothes for my Limhwa girl, but I also just bought two gorgeous handmade dresses off Ebay for my F65 girl. If the price is right, and the clothes look well-made and are good quality, I don't care where I get them from. Although, shipping does tend to be a bit cheaper from Etsy or Ebay than from doll stores.

Alice's Collections has become my #1 clothes shop for dolls. My sewing just isn't up to snuff.

Thanks Pandor - yeah he's a bit too tall but the body shape is pretty much what I'm looking for... Drat! He needs to be significantly shorter than Havelock, who's about 72/73cm tall...

Ugh! EvilBay have gone all nanny state on me - I can't find any way of sending my paypal address to jeeryama through their messaging service, and can't really email them either. But I do still have a record of jeeryama's paypal address... Sigh I know the risks EvilBay I'm not a child, let me take the risk of getting scammed!

Derp, it now occurs to me that Impldoll also has the 65cm "Star" body, which in terms of build is fairly similar to their Idol body: http://www.impldoll.com/goods.php?id=322 I've actually been eying this one of one of my floating heads for a while, too!

I've been trying to find more girl dolls that I like because I do have a few female characters I want to Make dolls for. However whenever I look around I can't really find any sculpts I like, or if I find one I like, it doesn't suit the character. I don't know why I have such a hard time finding girls when I usually find the perfect boy sculpt within a days search. *sighs* Why do they have to make the boys so pretty?

Have you tried looking at boy sculpts for your girl characters? You can always hybrid them onto girl bodies.

I found my camera charger, so I can finally get some photos of the new boy. Wohoo! Now if only I could figure out a face for him.
