Dollieh Sanctuary

Have any of you heard about dolls called "Звезда подиума"? These dolls are 60cm and very popular in Russia. They cost 2500 Russian rubles ($ 82.68). That's all I know about them. Any other info would be appreciated.

Well her name seems to be Diana Star...something. Google has it translated as "Star Podium" but that doesn't seem quite right. The "Star" part is right, Zvezda, (tha's the Звезда part) means star.

Aha, it means "Stage Star", just puzzled it out from the translation of another page. So she is from the "Angel Collection" and she is "Diana, Stage Star" Or "Catwalk Star"

Admittedly, not too fond of the face. She's got that creepy, bug-eyed, I-keel-you-in-your-sleep stare a lot of those porcelain dolls seem to be inflicted with.... Although the lower picture on her box isn't as bad as her bald nekkid picture. Must be the eyelashes and wig making the difference. heh

Interesting jointing on the body - reminds me of the friction jointed obitsu dolls. Don't like the hands much - they look abnormally long to me for some reason. I wonder if there is an internal skeleton....

Totally agree about the face. In all photos I've seen the eyes are the same, so I suppose they can be changed only by cutting her head open (like many people do to their Moxie Teenz).
