Added new pix:
Gwenyth, my Lubi, with her "sister", Nieve (Customhouse Cebee).
Size difference between the older (shorter) and newer (taller) bodies.

I bought this body a year and a half ago when Customhouse sold them for $88 plus shipping (so $138). These were the old-style bodies and they are a little shorter than the current ones. It came really fast so I figured that when I ordered my Cebee from them she would also come fast.. Ha ha ha. NINE MONTHS later my Cebee arrived with a free event head, an Iryia. Once I got the head I decided I wished I had gotten the Lubi head instead, and someone else had the Lubi head and wanted the Iryia, so we traded. The box had gotten shoved under my sewing table and so the head just got tossed in and I forgot about the whole thing.
For some reason a few days ago I decided to finally put the body together (maybe no new doll in a while, lol). The body was in 22 pieces and had to be sanded and parts of it glued together, but it did come with "instructions" and string. No hooks- instead there were a couple of pieces of string to tie the hands onto the elastic with. Happily I had some extra hooks, so I used those.
Did the face-up and popped the head on. Yesterday I ordered her a red wig, and the same day this wig came in the mail- I had completely forgotten I had ordered it. So she will have a choice of hairstyles, lol.
Anyway, here she is. She is as-yet unnamed because I want the perfect Celtic/Gaelic name for her and haven't found it yet. I will probably redo her lips in a more coral tone- just didn't have that color of pastels. I also want to add freckles but have never done it so not sure how. Not a great picture: by the time I finished her, the sun was almost gone. So hopefully more and better pictures tomorrow.
