LOL, my dolls wish that they could have some face ups too. I like the eyes.

Cute! Looking at those eyes made me decide to purchase a pair of green anime eyes from the Marketplace that I had been debating!

LOL - that is so funny But of course dolliehs watch anime - they read manga too! I mean, they have to do something when we aren't around

I have gotten so used to seeing the Gretel head (my girl Diamond) with "normal" eyes, when looking at your Gretel with the animetic eyes she looks like she should have stars and tweeting birds circling her head.

Note: Those are 18mm eyes, in both girls. Most of the anime eyes run large (there was only one style of anime eye that was available in 16mm). Fortunately the eye sockets in the 50cm Obitsu girl can handle 18mm. Haven't tried them in my Haruka, that might not work as well -- those eye wells are less flexible.

Also I had to pay a lot more attention to making sure the eyes were in at the right angle -- something you don't have to worry about with regular eyes with no "up" or "down" to them!

I really love the colors -- and with the sculpt of the 50cm default head, that practically demanded anime eyes.

K2! -- Diamond should try them sometime -- especially if she wants to go undercover to an anime convention!

Greyhaunt - yes, the girls love anime (and manga) -- and they watch them with the Japanese language track! (but if I'm there, they kindly let me use English subtitles).

They are looking great in those eyes. What a difference they make.

I've had eye fitting issues in the Haruka head myself, and the solution is to take either sharp scissors or an Xacto knife and cut a slit in the eye pocket. I usually do one on the "inside" and if that's not enough I do one on the "outside" as well. I also start short and make them longer (deeper?) as needed.

Had the same problem with my Megu head! Joshua, on the other hand, has roly poly eyes because the sockets are a bit too big for the ones I used LOL.

those are really cool! I am going to have to get some for Kyra...she demands lots of eyes cause she is a shapeshifter!
