Let me just get this out: squeeeeeeee~!

Williams has been my dream doll/grail doll for some time now, but I didn't think it likely that I'd ever get him. Circumstances changed, and I recently contacted timchener on DoA about her Williams on the marketplace, and we made a deal. A few days later he was on his way, and he arrived this morning!

So far all my dolls have represented my own characters, but this boy is going to be a character from my favourite manga, "The Tyrant Falls In Love" by Hinako Takanaga. That's him, Souichi Tatsumi, on the left:



His wig and glasses (and more casual clothing) aren't here just yet.
Apologies for the flash and bad lighting. Soon I'm moving to a new place with much more natural light. Yay.



Big box!



Another big box! So pretty ;^;



This is definitely the most lovely company box I've ever seen. It even FEELS nice. And it's in terrific like-new condition. Unlike my dining table, which has been enthusiastically attacked by my evil cat.



Stop! 14-year-olds cannot handle the Williams D:<



Goodies! The seller had given the coat that comes with the fullset to a friend, but to make up for it she included another nice Volks outfit. His boots and belt were in the cute little red box. :3



SD designer outfit on the left, default Williams things on the right. And...my knee.



Paperwork! It was still sealed. But that didn't last for long. <_<;



Guidebook! He's my first Volks, so I'd never seen one of these. It has instructions on restringing and other stuff. Neat!



Wow! Volks goes all-out with their pillows. It has a zipper that goes around 3 of the four sides, and straps inside to hold him nice and snug.

DAT FACEUP. So gorgeous ;A;



The all important headplate! The shoulder sculpt is...kinda strange. But I'm so in love with everything else that I do not care.



Terrific range of motion! "What do you think I am, a contortionist?"



The neat torso joints allow for cute slouchy poses.



I like the Volks knee joints! They can pose two different ways - the one on the left is very stable and allows for Japanese-style sitting, and the right has a more rounded natural look.



He stands SO well! Much easier than my other two SD-size boys' bodies (A Domuya D-1 flexi and a 74cm LoongSoul.)



Gratuitous sexy pose.



All dressed in black! My other two SD boys are Victorian-era, so they'll gladly steal his clothes once his more casual things arrive.



With his new eyes (from Luts) sitting next to Justin, my DiM Arno on the Domuya D1 Flexi body. They look like brothers!

Very nice indeed. This is exactly why I am falling for VOlks now too. Congrats on nabbing him. I will eventually own an SD volks one day as well as a DDS...

*drools and stares* Dang...I'm usually not into boy dolls but now I must figure out how to steal him....wait, did I just say (write?) that aloud? Pretend you didn't hear that, and a HUGe congratz!

I like the new eyes you got for him - I think that combined with the hair and faceup they really stand out strongly. Excellent choice!
