Together (and photographed) at last
Posted: Wed Jun 29, 2011 11:30 amSo Calder's body actually came a couple months ago. However, between summer classes and vacation and trying to find him some clothes that actually fit, I never got around to taking any pictures. Now that I've finally gotten a break in the action, here they are
With flash, to show off his face better. Notice that his head and body do not match at all. I think his face-up needs some more blushing, but overall I'm pretty happy with it.
And a couple pictures of him and his girlfriend Dess. Cal is a mad scientist, Dess is a nerd.
Calder: So, how do I look now that I've finally got a body?
Dess: You know those guys you see at cons who grab a t-shirt, jeans, a black wig and some eyeliner and try to pretend they're cosplaying as L?
Calder: ...
Dess: Kind of like that, except without the eyeliner.
Calder: I knew I needed a labcoat.

Dess: Aw, look Cal, I stole your heart.
Calder: Goddammit, Dess, that is a valuable specimen to be used in some very important experiments. If I have to get a new one because you were messing around with it, it's coming out of your video game funds.
Dess: Don't worry, I won't break your heart.
Calder: That's not actually funny, you know.
Dess: Dude, it is totally funny.
