My hubby's Christmas present!

I know it's not Christmas yet, and I'm really bad at keeping secrets from him, but there was an ulterior motive for giving him his Christmas present early. I have been wanting to put a faceup tutorial on our website, but didn't have a girls head to use for the pictures. I had guy heads, but since the majority (in my opinion) are usually more girl BJD's, a girls face would be best to do the tutorial. So I gave Frank his present early and told him he would have to take photos while I did the steps of the faceup. He was only TOO glad to be of assistance! LOL! Doncha just love easy going guys?
So here is his new girl. He's named her Roxanne. It was very different doing this faceup because I'd never done a redhead before. Getting the coloring right was interesting. And then Frank wanted freckles, too.....which I had never done before either. So it was an adventure for me to do something different. Without further ado...here is Roxanne.......(click on the picture to make it larger so you can see the freckles better).
Now that all the pictures of the process have been taken, it will take me a few weeks to do the write up of the steps, materials, etc. and then I'll post when the tutorial is up. My hope is that the tutorial will enable others to enjoy their BJD's more and save some money by learning to do their own faceups.
