Boofriend wants to play in the doll hobby but then doesn't. When Cirquemom sent me the lovely Demon Garden boy, he was all like. I can have this one? SO I gave him the 60cm Obitsu, cause he loves the smaller versions. He does like her and then ignores her and then likes her again. He's such a flop!
But he enjoys doll meets now because he can join too...even though I named his doll, gave the face up and dress his doll....He just has final say. I need to get her a new wig and another pair of shoes. I think he is getting sick of pink stuff XD

I guess freaking out the in-laws is one of the perks of doll ownership. I would suppose having 60cm scale dolls (rather than fashion doll or action figure sized) serves to heighten the level of uncomfortableness for the unwilling victims.

It's really great that the two of you can share this hobby.

Vinyl love!

Yeah, they were pretty freaked over the Silkstone Barbies, then came the 16-17 inch Ellowyne Wilde and DeeAnna Dentons..those made them even more nervous. These, I think, put them right over the edge.

I love it. :P

Yeah, but you forget the added twist that their son-in-law is playing with dolliehs now too...

I like my dolliehs a lot.
Actually, I like my dolliehs more than I like a lot of people I know in real life.
Is that bad? I think not!
