Since I paint so many heads I thought I would just start one thread in each size section to update so I don't start so many threads. Recently I've started painting the Big OBitsu heads as well as the little ones. I find they easier to paint due to their size but it takes just as long or longer and the gradients in the eyes are harder to do.

This is my second one. I think most of you guys saw the first one but I will include her here just to compile them.

Oh, and I have added the painted eye heads to my available commissions.

I hope you like her. I think she came out a lot nicer than the first one. That at least is a good sign lol. I think in the 1/6 dept i am not doing as well with the last one compared to previous ones.

augh my eyes are killing me....I did a small head today...no small heads for another week or so....

Thanks guys! Yah the big heads are a lot easier on my eyes.

OMG! I had no idea! I'm so glad she arrived safely at an awesome dollieh home. Falls over crying. I am so happy you bought her and I get to see what happens to her.

She looks great in the outfit you put her in. I hope to see her in photos with yours and Highlander's other dolls in the future. I have not heard much word on other Obitsu heads I've painted and sold. Yes I still get attached to the dolls I paint. The small ones I have sold are in vast space of the dollieh galaxy now. I hope to see pics of some of them again one day.

Thanks again for giving her a new home.

YAY! I wanted to surprise you. I fell in love with her face when I first saw it. She really does remind me of Louise from The Familiar of Zero. 'Meisenshi' is the closest name to 'Louise' I could come to in Japanese as far as meaning. These were just quick phone pics, but I wanted to post something tonight.

She had a fashion waiting for her from Wicked Stitchery ( I love Brandon's stuff!) and is now ready to give the rest of the ladies a run for the money. I have a feeling that she and Nagi-Rose (my other Rie K character doll) will either be fast friends or mortal enemies. :lol:
