I restrung Katherine recently after I modded her face up and took a couple of photos. I put some symbols on the side of her face to duplicate trill (Yes, as in Star Trek's trill race) markings. I didn't do the body yet since I'm still working on it. She stands a bit better but I'm not done fixing her sueding and such yet. I got the idea after playing Star Trek Online for a bit (my character).
The photos were taken with the Olympus E-P1 camera which I'm still learning how to use.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
Ooh, a Trill! That's so cool! Jadzia was always one of my favorite characters on Deep Space Nine, and I've thought a little about doing an Obitsu version of her. Doing a whole 1/3rd scale doll is an impressive undertaking. Is your girl joined or unjoined? Do you have any pictures that show off her spots?
Yep, she's a Lady Sylvie mold from Volks. Sylvia is a cute name too. :3
She's technically double jointed, but the joints don't pull out as well as I'd like. I will probably keep her as herself appearance wise other then the race, however she kind of reminds me of Ezri Dax in her black wig. I'll see if I can figure out a set up/angle to get a good shot of the marks on the head, if I can't do it wigged I'll have to take a wigless one.
[Edit] Took a teaser photo pf the markings, hopefully I can figure out how to get a non-blurry photo soon and get a clearer one. >_<
