Your doll is adorable! I love that second picture...what's her name?

(That park looks gorgeous, too...I would love to spend my lunch hour there. Well, if I had one. I deliver mail, so it's easier just to get all the stuff delivered and then eat. And there is a park with a duck lake a few miles down the highway...hmm... XD)

I'm a bit of recluse, even online. :/ If I'm not talking to myself, I'm talking to the cats! lol!

She finally told me her name today. She requests that everyone call her Effie. Oh, her favorite movie is 'The Maltese Falcon'.

That park is 280+ acres. That's just a very very small part of it. It's not too far away from where I work so that's where I spend my lunch most days.

Choose your weapons! They can be Obitsu parts...legs have more powerful attacks, but arms can take your opponent's weapon away from them...

And the right torso causes any opponent to instantly surrender.

Anyway, I saw your box opening on Jspot and I have but one thing to say: YOU'RE DOOOMED!!! Now that you've gone Obitsu (and 50cm at that) you will NEVER go back!!! You will start to haunt DoA for second hand ones and battle with Misheru to buy them!!!

It's big. If I'm not there, I go walking at the local cemetery - 300+ acres! It's a lot like a park with all the old growth trees. I always like to look at the old tombstones to see if I can still read them. Every now and then I find one that's interesting.

Speaking of being DOOOMED!!!!!!!, the husband told me I've spent my Christmas and birthday money! ROFL! Whoops. Well, that might change around my birthday. lol! Maybe if all the dolls and I beg.

Like I told Greyhaunt, I tend to use my lunch hour to walk around the cemetery. It's HUGE! I was thinking (and this is kinda morbid) of having a couple of the dolls play hide and seek there. I'm still debating if I want to do that or not. Just to let you know, I tend to stay around the older part of the cemetery...like 1800s portion of it. It's the respect thing that keeps me from doing that so far.

Maybe they'll just play on the swings and monkey bars. That would be safer. And no ghosts.

Yeah, I know. I really don't care. She's already gone to work with me two days in a row now. My boss thinks I've lost my mind. Apparently, she doesn't remember my bringing in my BBB Mu and introducing him as the horny bas****.

I kinda get what you mean. there's a remainder of a colonial gate with some tombstones (circa 1800 something) near my workplace. Half of my dolls have gone up that hill and had done shots all over the place except for that one area.

I've an idea for Effie. I'm a bit of a pinhole camera freak. I make them out of cardboard, black electrician's tape, flat black paint, buckets of glue, pop cans and whatever else I can find around the house to make them work. I may take Effie there once I get her a pinhole camera made (35mm - just because the film is smaller than 120 format). The other head, the Gretel with no name, IS a pinhole camera! Film won't fit in there easily (a frame at a time!) so I'll use paper instead.

Wow. I'm a geek.

But they're going to be, as my husband calls them, the Paradollieh Investigators, the Ghost Hunters of the Dollieh World. So yeah, maybe they will get to go to the cemetery. I've taken enough photos of that place already. Might as well add their photos to the collection.

If it's an older cemetery, I don't think you have to worry. At the time they were built, they were actually designed to be used something like parks. The Living were expected to go there and take walks, enjoy the scenery (maybe have a picnic...), and use their lengthy and enjoyable visit to pay respects. As long as nothing is damaged, using the cemetery in the way it was designed for is no disrespect.

Thank you! This cemetery (Oak Ridge - where Pres. Lincoln and family is entombed) has some really old areas. At one time, it even had a pond, which is no longer there. Personally, I love the cemetery as much as I love Washington Park. It is a lot quieter, too. Plus, there are benches around here and there under the huge oaks where I can sit and watch woodpeckers, all sorts of song birds, squirrels and chipmunks play.

When I'm walking around there, though, it's a constant mantra of, "Oh, pardon me!", "I'm sorry!", "I didn't see your stone!". That last one is because some of them are so old, they've fallen over and literally sunk into the ground. It's hard to notice them unless you're looking down a lot. :/
