GAH - they distribute through Diamond! That means my local comic book shop could carry her! That is SOOOOOOO not fair! And if they start distributing the bodies? ARGHH!!

We need to find someone in Japan that could get them directly from Yamato without all the overhead.

That's the latest Yamato VMF50 limited offering, the Super Soniko Mascot with the new Type A body (The one TheHighlander is pining for). She's been going for about 65000yen on Y!JA, still a lot cheaper than $1050.

I saw her and thought...twice, three times and then added up how many regular ones I could get for that. But yeah, she is the one I want, too. :)

The VMF50 girls have had their own custom head sculpts with painted on or closed eyes. The first open eye head to appear was on the Type F.

Also the recent (October 2010) re-release of Miu (Type B body with tan skin) used an open eye head very similar to the stock Obitsu 50cm.

That is the one I was thinking of (I think...yeah, newer type b). She does look a lot like the regular Obitsu 50cm head.

I was going to deny pining for this dollieh, but....alas, I can't exactly deny it. Although, I will say that Shion (50cm, large bust, modified 60cm abdomen) is gorgeous as is, and I'm very happy with the curves she has, although I'd love slightly more Curvey leg and arm vinyl too. However, at the end of the day, what matters more is the face, and the name and the personality that somehow is spontaneously synthesized when the face-up, eyes and wig are complete for the first time. Even though I'd love to have a Super Sonico, I wouldn't trade Shion for one for any reason.

I like my dolliehs a lot.
Actually, I like my dolliehs more than I like a lot of people I know in real life.
Is that bad? I think not!
