I know this is extremely image heavy but I swear there are some real doll pics towards the end :D I figured I'd combine all the pics instead of having separate threads.
So here's the shots from Kellan's box opening. They're pretty crappy. I was very excited to get him out.



I couldn't get over how small the box was. Apparently that was because it was actually a 1/6 sized box.

Kellan was shipped folded in half, which I didn't get a good shot of.
And here he is!!

Comparison of Kellan and Geist:

Kellan very quickly made himself at home, so despite being here less than 24 hours himself he felt it was his duty to make Geist feel welcome. Kellan's solution for everything so far has been his pink stuffed bunny.

Later that morning some of Kellan's clothes showed up(previously he was wearing a pair of Dani's leggings and her old hoodie) so we tried putting Geist in what he had been wearing.

Geist does not like clothes. Also? Those boots? I can put those on him and take them off without ever having to unzip them. He's so freakishly thin.

And here's all my boys together(minus the very tiny Elliot). Until two days ago Taavi(and Elliot, who only slightly counts) was my only boy. Finally we have some more guys in the house.

I love those tights Kellan is wearing on the first shots. And is it just me or do they never actually write a birthdate on those COAs? XD

I'm becoming ever more enamored of Doll Chateau. They remind me so much of Arthur Rackham's fairies.

!!! Kellan's here! He is so adorable! I love the pink bunny. And wow Geist is skinny. I'd almost be worried about something accidentally happening to those skinny little legs. o_O But at the same time the aesthetic is kind of facinating. I don't think I've ever seen a Doll Chateau before. His elbows and knees look like they'll pose well.

Thanks! I'm not sure since it's the first time I'd seen one in person, but it would be pretty cool to know when they actually cast him. Maybe they want the birthday to be when they got home? o.O Those tights are actual capri leggings for Dani(60cm girl) made out of an old sock but she never wears them and they work pretty well on him

Thank you! Geist is a spirit creature and I think the Doll Chateau sculpts are perfect for other worldly creatures. I'm glad to see that they're becoming more popular and we're getting more owner pics. I know one of the main reasons I got him was because of what I saw in owner pics.

Thanks Candle! I love Kellan so much. He's absolutely perfect! Hopefully this week I'll get some good shots of his personality and show off his face up a little better. If you take the bunny away, even for a moment, Kellan looks really sad. It's kind of amazing how skinny Geist is. I was thinking the same thing about his legs but they're actually a lot sturdier than they look. He does pose very well although he came strung a bit tight, which I'm just going to let loosen over time. They'll both be coming with me to the meet on Tuesday so if you can make it you can play around with him. :D Oooo also I don't think I'd be able to do the industrial piercing on Kellan without some ear modding which I want to avoid. I still have some ideas on how to do it, but I'm just less positive it'll work.

Well, better a little bit tight than a little bit loose, Kellan must've been an absolute ragdoll out of the box if he shipped folded. It's too bad about the piercing, though if you figure out a way to do it I'll be interested to see. I'm gonna try to make it to the meet, fingers crossed. I'm looking forward to meeting them both.

Yeeeaaah. When we were tightening him we pulled literally a foot and half of extra elastic out of him. Actually, we accidentally made him slightly too tight but he's fine and already starting to loosen up a bit.
