hey guys, thought you might think this is neat. since she's 10-11ish inches tall posting it here.
it's an old doll that we found in storage with my grannie's things. she's a red riding hood storybook doll.
one side is red, flip the skirt and it's grannie, and if you flip grannie's hat she turns into the wolf.
the heads and hands are ceramic, and the body is soft.
she was just a cool find and i wanted to share it with other doll nuts.

That is really neat! I've seen flip dolls before, but never a storybook one of that sort.

I had one of those!! They are based on Antique dolls, but that one was made in the 70's I think. They are a lot of fun!

We had one but it was all cloth.

They're called topsy turvy dolls too and they aren't that hard to make, the trick is the skirt hides other upper body, you can have several, and arms and hats or hoods hide extra faces.

Like this?

My sister and I had these as kids, so '70s version sounds about right. Didn't know there was an older version too! I went through our old toys last year and brought this one home (along with the Barbies) because I liked the concept. The wolf looks more like some sort of ghost ferret, though.

When I was little I had one too; it was an all-cloth little miss muffet and the spider.

Wait, so if you turned little miss muffet upside down and pulled her skirt over her head, she ...became a spider? Because that sounds pretty awesome! :D
