Who is this? (Articulated Steffi Love or clone?)

This thrift store find turned out to be unexpectedly hard to identify. I'm posting this here in case someone who is more familiar with doll brands has any idea who this is, or knows someone who might. Any help would be much appreciated!

At first I thought it was a Steffi Love. The body looks exactly like an older articulated Steffi body (like this one), except for the torso which is much less hourglass-shaped. Grandma doll? Her face looks older too. Neck stamp says Simba, not Simba Toys, and there's no logo, but the body seems pretty good quality for a clone.

No idea, though it kind of reminds me of old Chrissys? She has an AWESOME face. Really unique. :D

Does it look like the b in Simba is covering up a k? She could be a mix of molds. The face is very sweet.

Try image searching for 'cheap fashion doll', 'knock off barbie', 'barbie clone', and other similar things and see what turns up.

@ hanabushi I liked the face too! Unfortunately, I'm pretty certain she's not a Crissy. :)

It's just a bad photo, it definitely says Simba and nothing else. I'm starting to think it's a clone since nobody seems to have heard of a Steffi Love grandma doll. Seems an odd choice of body shape for a clone, though. I'm googling every combination of relevant words I can think of, there's not much else for it I guess... :)

Also I'm kind of curious: how do you mix two head molds?

Look for Steffi Love riding dolls with horses, I saw elbows and you need hips like that if you don't want to fall off.

I've seen a few riding and sports Steffies, but from what I can tell that body has the same arms and legs, but a different torso: curvier, more like the regular body. None of them seem to have this face, either. I still feel like she's a "granny doll"...

(Also, apparently there's a new articulated Steffi Love body now that looks like a Fashionista with a Liv waist.)

That one has the nineties Steffi head.. still a different face than Anderson's doll.

The one on ebay is the regular (older) Steffi Love articulated body, the difference is mine hardly has a waist at all:

And yes, it's a different head too. :)
