Darkening Obitsu/Volks Skintones

So, I got my first obitsu doll today, it's a 27cm one, this model:

I realize the market for obitsu skintones is really limited, and I am happy with the doll, but I'd like to tan her up some. Tomorrow I should be receiving my volks order, and I got blushes and sealer and whatnot with that one. I was hoping to just do a lot of blushing to get her dark enough, but I'm thinking something a bit more extreme might be in order.

So my question, can I use acrylics to darken the skintone as long as I seal it in when I'm done? Well, that is, I plan to do various shading/blushing, and darkening. Any advice would be welcome, thanks guys!

You could give acrylic paint a try. I've used it on my dolls for freckles and stuff and it stays fine with a little varnish on top.

Yes, acrylics, diluted so the result is smooth, will work fine. I've done it dozens of times on both Obitsu and Volks dolls.
If you seal it, it stays for years, but of course, not the joints. One turn or movement, and the paint is off, seal or no seal. I'm fine with it, since it's just the joints and most of the time, their 'joints' are under clothing anyway.

Here are few I've painted:
