Hi guys

so as some of you know, I'm a huge disney/little mermaid fan and I'm also a doll collector. I stumbled upon these pictures on flickr. apparently, the jointed body merida has will also be givin to the princesses. BUT, the princess have this new stylized look:



heres the dolls note the porportional heads now instead of before:

I don't have a disney store near me anymore. and there is 3 of these I want I guess I don't get the Ariel, Jasmine and Pocahontas. These ones would have been perfect to replace the characters I had with the original dolls. They look great.

I love Snowwhite and Belle!! Whaaaa

The Disney Store does have an online store. Yeah it sucks to have to pay shipping but I still figured I'd throw that out there.

The online store doesn't seem to have Belle... Snowwhite is only $8!!

thats the snow white with only the arms jointed. these fully jointed dolls wont be coming out till, I'm thinking the end of june, some time in july.

Ooooh okay ^^. I really like them, I'll be keeping a close eye!

I really like the Pocahontas and the Mulan, but I hate how most of their eyes are looking off to the sides. Many of them don't quite look like the Princesses to me, but their still cute. I remember when I was little I loved Anastasia, and I always wondered why Disney "forgot" about her. Then, I got the DVD of the movie a few years ago and found out why: Disney didn't do that movie! Belle kinda reminds me of Anastasia more than Belle.

I have the joint arm click knee 10 pack, which are nice enough. Best thing is they fit Barbie stuff. The trick with the on line store is to keep checking back for what you want to be the sale of the week or free shipping if you spend so much, add doll outfits and friends if need be. I scored my box on Thanksgiving Day when it was 50% off. Sometimes they have printable coupons too but the brick and mortar are snippy on those being printed out just right. Some times they'll run buy a doll get a free something specials too.

Now what I see as a draw back are hinged knees as opposed to the "ball joint" knees you can get on 100 Poses Fashionistas. If you can't stand that everyone but Pocahontas is either Barbie Light or the mid tone AA so you can buy a cheap one and rebody her. Pivotals come light enough.

The only one I don't really like is Ariel, because I LOVE the Little Mermaid and the doll representing her just has to be perfect. I really really like Jasmine's lips by the way.
